What Is Paper.io?
Paper.io is a fast-paced multiplayer conquest game where every player controls a colorful square that leaves an ink trail behind it. Your mission is simple: capture as much of the blank arena as possible by enclosing territory with your trail, then race back to your own color to claim it. As the map fills, skirmishes get tighter, and one slip into an opponent’s line sends you back to the starting point.

Steer your square in four directions. The moment you leave your base, you draw a live “tail” behind you. -
Complete a Loop
Close your trail back into your colored area to convert everything inside the loop into your turf. -
Watch Your Tail
If another player runs through your open trail before you seal it, you’re knocked out and lose unbanked territory. -
Eliminate Rivals
You can slice through an opponent’s tail to eliminate them. Aim for players who wander too far from their base. -
Expand Smart
Small loops are safer for beginners. Larger sweeps are riskier but pay off with huge land grabs if you make it back alive.
